A pressured couple days after a trip away

20:52 – time for pint, and bike ride to enjoy the lovely May weather [sarcasm level: warp 2]. It has stopped raining, but even indoors the air feels damp.

Time also to find some software bugs, as I always do when I leave my development code cave and try to interact with my work as a punter. It’s not all bad though. For each glitch caused by the improvements I’ve been working on over the past few weeks there has been a noticeable increase in productivity – an upshift in the pace of fixing and upgrading old stuff, as well as implementing new things.
