Time for an update

Having been looking and Vue, React, and a few fashionable CSS frameworks, I'm going to update one of my own projects to see if they're really worth the overheads they carry.

Step 1: Remove jQuery

As front-end frameworks go, I like using Semantic/Fomantic UI. It looks good, has all the components you can eat, and it works as well as any of the others I've tried. However, the original Semantic UI was moth-balled when its founder got a job, and 'community' version seems to heading the same way. There is a React version that seems to alive which I might look at, but for now I think I need to try something that doesn't rely on jQuery.
